heat CC New heat transfer plates are available for most popular makes of Plate Heat Exchangers and Pasteurizers. These plates are all genuine parts and are sourced from the original manufacturer.
Only good quality used heat transfer plates (that have been used in soft, non-corrosive applications) are selected for reconditioning. Reconditioning of these plates includes the visual inspection of each plate prior to chemical cleaning and/or electro-polishing. Final inspection is done by Dye-Penetration or Light-Box testing. Customers can be assured that only the best quality plates are reconditioned and that these plates will give an excellent service life.
Plate Heat Exchanger Gaskets
Genuine and Aftermarket flow plate, end plate and port ring gaskets are available in most materials (Nitrile, \EPDM, Viton, etc.) in glue-on and clip-on design, depending on make and model.All glue-on gasket sets are supplied together with sufficient 'field' cement and applicator as 'Free-Issue'. Where possible, a plateage arrangement drawing should accompany your enquiry for full gasket sets.
Where required, a drawing service is available to make up new plateage drawings or copies of old drawings.
Re-Gasketing Service
heat CC Offers customers a complete quality Plate Heat Exchanger and Pasteuriser re-Gasketing service for separate plates or complete plate packs.Complete Heat Exchangers, complete Plate Packs or separate plates can be sent to our Durban facility for service. We can also strip a unit on site and remove the plate pack for service at our facility, re-assembling back on site after re-gasketing.
heat CC Our re-gasketing service includes initial visual inspection of each
plate, gasket removal and chemical cleaning of the plate pack, intermediate visual inspection, Dye-Pen and Light-Box crack detection and re-gasketing of the plate pack after passing of all tests. Where plates fail such tests the client will choose how to proceed.
Where pressure testing of the completed re-gasketing service is a requirement (and then only when the frame accompanies the Plates), customers must supply a set of blanking pieces for all connections.
heat CC Are happy to offer this re-gasketing service using customer 'free-issue' gaskets or to supply our own new gaskets, as required.
heat CC offers customers a further PHE Frame Service. Plate Heat Exchanger frames are sand-blasted to 21A SA and primed/painted or galvanized as per customer requirements. Where painting of the frame is required please specify paint make and colour code prior to commencement of this service.
